Position Title: Childcare attendant; FLSA: Hourly/Non-Exempt; Part-time, not to exceed 20 hours per week; Department: Membership. Responsible for providing a safe and engaging environment for small groups of children (8 weeks to 9 years old) in the JCC Childcare Room while caregivers use the JCC facilities during: Monday–Friday 8am–noon; Monday–Thursday 4pm–7pm; Sunday 9am–noon. Key responsibilities include engaging children in age-appropriate activities, ensuring safety and proper check-in/out, adhering to staff guidelines, maintaining cleanliness, sterilizing toys/areas, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications: HS Diploma or GED required; CPR/AED/First Aid and prior experience with young children preferred; excellent interpersonal skills required.
