Judaic Studies Head Teacher, Lower School
Barkai Yeshivah is seeking a dedicated and inspiring Judaic Studies Head Teacher to join our Lower School team. The Judaic Studies Head Teacher will lead the instruction of Torah, Jewish History, Jewish Holidays, and Mitzvot in a way that cultivates a deep understanding of Jewish traditions, values, and culture. The ideal candidate will be passionate about imparting Jewish knowledge and fostering spiritual growth in young learners.
The Judaic Studies Head Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing creative, engaging, and developmentally appropriate lesson plans. This role includes teaching a variety of Jewish subjects, including Parshat Hashavua, Jewish values, and texts, while ensuring that the students develop both academic knowledge and a strong sense of Jewish identity. The Judaic Studies Head Teacher will collaborate closely with the General Studies team to integrate Jewish values across the curriculum and create a holistic, nurturing environment. The position reports to the Lower School Director. We are seeking a dedicated educator with strong Judaic knowledge, a passion for teaching, and the ability to inspire students in their spiritual and academic journeys.
