Assistant Teacher, Early Childhood
Barkai Yeshivah is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our Early Childhood team. Our program is known for its nurturing, child-centered approach, where young children develop socially, emotionally, and academically in a warm, supportive environment.
The Assistant Teacher will support the lead teacher in fostering an engaging, immersive classroom experience for students. This role involves assisting with classroom management, providing individualized support to students, and helping to implement lesson plans that promote early childhood development. The Assistant Teacher will collaborate closely with the teaching team to ensure that each child receives the attention and support they need to thrive. The position reports to the Early Childhood Director. We are looking for a compassionate educator who is excited to work in a collaborative, creative environment and who has a passion for helping young children develop a love for learning.

Barkai Yeshivah is a traditional, Sephardic elementary school in Brooklyn, NY.
