B'nai Jeshurun is a nearly 200-year-old non-affiliated synagogue located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, focused on creating a diverse and inclusive community that emphasizes spirituality, music, and social justice. The synagogue offers a variety of programs and services, including adult learning, family support, and lifecycle events, catering to a wide range of members. With approximately 1,800 member households, BJ is committed to fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all, regardless of their background or beliefs, and aims to provide both in-person and virtual experiences to engage its community.
