ABOUT US

Founded in 2016, At The Well (ATW) is a women’s wellness organization rooted in Jewish wisdom. Through Well Circles, Moon Manuals, programs, and products, we help women deepen their well-being, connection to Judaism, and sense of belonging—and equip them to bring these practices into their communities. Initially created as a newsletter focused on the Hebrew months, ATW now supports over 5,000 women across the world through Well Circles—spaces for intention, reflection, and support. Guided by the values of community, wholeness, courage, inclusivity, and joy, At The Well is building a nationally recognized resource for connection and belonging.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We're looking for a smart, execution-focused marketing contractor to build and run the technical backbone of our marketing, so that our ideas turn into smooth, well-integrated campaigns that motivate our audience to act.

This role brings forth beauty and easeful user experience through landing pages, forms, email sequences, technical integrations, and reporting. The role is less about originating strategy, and more about building the designs, copy, and systems that make our campaigns work end to end, on time and without friction.

What You'll Do

  • Build and manage Mailchimp email sequences — welcome flows, nurture sequences, weekly newsletters, and campaign sends
  • Design visual assets (campaign graphics, product mockups, and more) in Canva
  • Manage discounts, promotions, product pages, and design needs of our Shopify online store
  • Build and launch membership landing pages within Circle.so
  • Build and launch landing pages in Webflow using our existing component library
  • Create and manage Jotform forms for sign-ups, applications, and surveys
  • Set up and maintain Zapier integrations connecting our forms, email, CRM, and other tools
  • Track and maintain campaign and audience data in Salesforce
  • Maintain marketing calendar and associated Asana tasks
  • Monitor campaign performance and produce regular reporting and analysis to guide decisions
  • Partner with the marketing team to take a campaign concept from idea to fully built, integrated funnel; including coordinating directly with our social media lead
  • Troubleshoot and continuously improve our marketing tech stack as new campaigns launch

What We're Looking For

  • Genuine enthusiasm for smart, well-integrated marketing campaigns built to meet ambitious goals.
  • Highly execution-oriented: reliable, detail-oriented, and energized by taking a concept and executing a thoughtful, comprehensive build-out.
  • Hands-on, demonstrated experience building in several of:
    • Mailchimp
    • Shopify
    • Webflow
    • Circle.so
    • Jotform
    • Zapier
    • Salesforce
    • (Or comparable CRM, email, and automation tools)
  • Comfort in Canva and an eye for design
  • Commitment to polished copy free of typos or misspellings
  • A systems thinker who's comfortable connecting tools so data flows cleanly between them.
  • Interest in AI-supported workflows (Claude, Tasklet, etc.) that help our small team maximize impact.
  • Some familiarity with Jewish practice and the Jewish calendar is helpful — for example, understanding that Jewish days begin at sundown the evening before, which affects how we schedule and send content. Deep Jewish literacy isn't required, but comfort learning our vocabulary and rhythms is important.
  • Experience with campaign reporting and analysis — comfortable pulling data and drawing insight from it, not just building.
  • Experience with nonprofit, membership, e-commerce or community-based marketing is a plus
  • Available 20–25 hours/week on a consistent weekly schedule.

Logistics

  • Contract role, 20–25 hours/week. Expectation to work during ATW’s core team hours at least 2-3 days per week. (See below.)
  • Remote position based in U.S., in the Pacific, Mountain, Central, or Eastern time zone.
  • Engagement runs through January 2027, with possibility to scale into a full-time role if there is mutual interest and fit.
  • Compensation commensurate with experience.

At The Well has established daily core team hours to enable our geographically distributed, virtual team to do synchronous work while also allowing for flexibility of individual scheduling. Core team hours are Monday through Thursday between the hours of 12 pm and 5 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) and Fridays between 12 pm and 4 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Apply here by Sept. 30.

At The Well strives to model our vision of a just, vibrant, and inclusive future. As an equal opportunity employer, we strongly encourage applications from candidates reflective of the communities we serve, including individuals with varied identities and backgrounds, including Sephardic and Mizrahi Jews, Jews of color, women, people with disabilities, immigrants, LGBTQIA people, and people who come from low-income backgrounds.
