THE OPPORTUNITY

At The Well is currently seeking a Social Media Coordinator to develop, execute, and optimize our brand’s social media strategy. The position reports to the Director of Marketing and works closely with the larger Growth Team led by the Chief Growth Officer to promote our products and programs, and to share Jewish Wisdom that enhances women’s well-being. This role will serve as a bridge between our audience (including not-yet-followers) and the larger realm of At The Well programs, offerings, and ways to engage. Your enthusiasm for cultivating engagement, conversation, and a sense of community — and driving them to take action — will be key to moving them forward in their journey with At The Well.

You will be expected to increase our social following, engagement, and web traffic metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies. As a member of the At The Well team, you must exercise good judgment, excellent communication skills, and problem-solving skills.

Specific responsibilities include:

Strategy

  • Manage and program all At The Well social profiles (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and groups and any new platforms At The Well wants to have a presence on in the future.
  • Take broad campaign concepts and strategies and translate them into meaningful, actionable social media ideas.
  • Identify cutting-edge tools, techniques, and trends that will support our business objectives, advance our storytelling, and drive audience engagement.
  • Support the paid social media team to increase awareness/actions and leverage paid strategies to convert social interactions into sign-ups and sales.

Content Creation

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ideate, create, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video) that builds meaningful connections and inspires community members to take action.
  • Manage content production from concept to deployment including ideation, copywriting, design (in Canva), and posting. Consult relevant subject matter experts when needed.
  • Support our CEO, Jewish Education Director, and other staff in creating Reels, LinkedIn articles, and other assets that leverage our team’s wisdom.
  • Lead initiatives to cultivate user-generated content, including onboarding brand ambassadors to share their experiences with At The Well products and offerings.
  • Project manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
  • Facilitate online conversations with followers and respond to inquiries in comments and direct messages.

Reporting, Analysis & Refinement

  • Regularly monitor key social media KPIs and make adjustments to strategy accordingly.
  • Produce and report monthly analytics for all high-priority channels.
  • Regularly conduct meetings to present and report on channel/content performance, industry trends/updates, and key learnings.
  • Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans.
  • Provide insight into audience preferences, emerging trends, and social media developments.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate for this position possesses:

  • 2-3 years of digital and/or social media marketing experience.
  • Passion and deep knowledge about the social media landscape, with an emphasis on the wellness space.
  • Familiarity with the essentials of Jewish practice and tradition. (You’ll learn more with our team, but coming in with an understanding of Jewish holidays, key sacred texts, and vocabulary will help you make strategic recommendations in this role.)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required, including strong proofreading skills to ensure error-free content
  • Refined visual sensibility and skill for designing visual assets (Canva) and creating and editing short-form video (e.g. Capcut). Willingness to appear on At The Well channels personally (such as in Reels or Stories) is a plus.
  • Proven success in driving creative, integrated digital campaigns from concept to execution, including the reporting and optimization of digital campaigns.
  • Confidence in “managing up,” creating and maintaining timelines for multiple projects, and keeping stakeholders informed and on-track with deadlines.
  • A positive attitude, an eye for detail, a focus on our customers’ needs, and an enthusiasm for bringing our team together to create something remarkable.
  • Proficiency and comfort with technology including Canva, Later, Google Workspace, Salesforce, Zoom, Asana, Slack, and video editing software.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

This is a 40-hour/week non-exempt position. Compensation will be within a range of $50,000-$60,000, commensurate with experience.
