AI and Digital Learning Specialist
Lead the future of AI-powered learning and innovation across a global, mission-driven organization.
JDC is seeking a hands-on, curious and creative professional to drive AI integration and digital learning across the organization. Reporting to the Director for Organizational Development, this role will research, pilot and scale AI tools, build AI literacy programs while advancing JDC’s digital learning platforms to be inclusive, impactful, and AI-enhanced.
What will you do as an AI & Digital Learning Specialist?
- Support JDC’s AI implementation by researching tools and best practices, creating guidelines and coordinating implementation, including governance and compliance considerations.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to identify professional and organizational needs where AI can save time, enhance learning, and help efficiency. Co-create practical solutions, and integration and adoption plans.
- Coordinate the integration of AI tools into learning, operations, and knowledge-sharing systems, working closely with internal teams.
- Contribute to the development of JDC’s digital learning platforms, helping implement features like personalization, analytics, and automation.
- Design and deliver AI literacy programs that build knowledge and confidence, including creating engaging materials and training resources.
- Evaluate and recommend new digital learning tools, AI features, practices and approaches to improve efficiency, creativity, and collaboration across teams.
- Stay ahead of trends in AI, edtech, and digital transformation in order to continue building our internal expertise.
- Promote ethical and inclusive AI practices that align with JDC’s mission and values.
- Other responsibilities and projects as needed
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, etc.) and how they can improve learning and productivity across diverse teams; Familiarity with AI ethics principles and data privacy considerations.
- Proven ability to develop responsible AI frameworks, lead platform development and adoption, content strategy, and learner engagement.
- Experience in L&D, instructional design, digital learning, AI integration or related fields
- Experience with LMS platforms and e-learning authoring tools (Moodle, Cornerstone, TalentLMS, etc.).
- Ability to learn new tools and concepts independently with a proactive, curious, and self-motivated approach to exploring trends in AI and digital learning.
- Proven ability to use critical thinking, analytical skills and data-driven decision making to evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations/changes.
- Expertise in creating engaging, scalable learning experiences using modern tools and formats.
- Ability to work and thrive in cross-functional initiatives and support teams through digital transformation
- Experience working in NGOs or multicultural organizations – an advantage
- Comfortable working in both Hebrew and English (written and spoken).
- Passion for using technology to make learning accessible, efficient, and impactful.
