TMS Patient Care Coordinator

Alpert Jewish Family Service is seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated individuals to join our growing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) program.
TMS is an innovative, non-invasive treatment that supports individuals experiencing depression and other behavioral health conditions. Previous TMS experience is not required — we will provide the training needed to be successful.

As part of the TMS team, you will support patients throughout their treatment journey by helping create a welcoming environment, coordinating appointments, learning specialized treatment procedures, and supporting the daily operations of the program. Based on individual strengths and program needs, responsibilities may focus more on patient coordination, administrative support, or direct treatment support.
Essential Responsibilities
Patient Support
- Welcome patients and provide a professional, caring, and supportive experience.
- Help patients feel comfortable throughout their treatment process.
- Communicate with patients regarding appointments and program information.
- Conduct appointment reminders and follow-up communication.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Communicate patient updates or concerns to clinical team members.
TMS Treatment Support
- Receive training on TMS treatment procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
- Prepare patients for treatment sessions.
- Assist with equipment setup and positioning.
- Monitor patients during treatments for comfort and safety.
- Follow established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Document treatment information accurately.
Administrative & Program Support
- Schedule appointments and manage treatment calendars.
- Update patient information in electronic health record systems.
- Assist with documentation and patient tracking.
- Support communication between patients, providers, and team members.
- Assist with insurance-related processes as needed.
- Maintain treatment areas, supplies, and equipment documentation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Interest in healthcare, behavioral health, or helping others.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working directly with patients.
- Ability to learn new technology and medical equipment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable, organized, and able to follow procedures.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred (Not Required):
Education or experience in:
- Psychology
- Social Work
- Healthcare
- Human Services
- Medical assisting
- Behavioral health
- Customer service
- Administrative support Previous
- TMS experience is welcomed but not required.
