Morning Sous Chef/ Store Room Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced cook to join our team for morning hours.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes for breakfast and meat based menu lunch service. 1200 meals per day not including snacks and special events.
• Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Ownership of the storage spaces: Fridges, Freezers, Dry Goods Pantry
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Work with our existing team to ensure the highest level of professionalism
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Help develop new menu offerings and dishes

Requirements:

• Available to work hours, 7:30 to 16:00 Sunday through Thursday
• Must be able to travel and work in Old City of Jerusalem
• Must be a Shomer Shabbos Jew.
• Must be a legal resident with the ability to work.
• Able to lift 20-40 kilograms.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
• Able to start immediately.
• Rosh Gadol and Team Player
• English and Hebrew speakers preferred (Minimum – Professional Level)

תחומי אחריות:

• הכנה ובישול של מגוון מנות עבור שירותי ארוחת הבוקר וארוחת הצהריים (תפריט בשרי). 1200 מנות ביום לא כולל חטיפים ואירועים מיוחדים.
• הקפדה על סטנדרטים גבוהים של איכות המזון והגשתו.
• אחריות מלאה על שטחי האחסון: מקררים, מקפיאים ומחסן יבש.
• שמירה על סביבת עבודה נקייה ומאורגנת במטבח.
• עבודה בשיתוף פעולה עם הצוות הקיים להבטחת רמת מקצועיות מקסימלית.
• עמידה בכל תקנות בטיחות המזון והתברואה.
• סיוע בפיתוח מנות והצעות תפריט חדשות.

דרישות התפקיד:

• זמינות לעבודה בימים א’-ה’ בין השעות 16:00-07:30.
• יכולת הגעה ועבודה בעיר העתיקה בירושלים.
• חובה: יהודי/ת שומר/ת שבת.
• חובה: תושב/ת חוקי/ת בעל/ת אישור עבודה בתוקף.
• יכולת פיזית להרמת משקלים (40-20 ק”ג).
• ניסיון של שנה עד שנתיים לפחות במטבח מקצועי.
• זמינות לתחילת עבודה מיידית.
• ראש גדול ויכולת עבודה בצוות.
• עדיפות לדוברי אנגלית ועברית (רמה מקצועית לפחות).
