About the Role:
Aish, a leading global Jewish non-profit, in its pursuit to uplift and inspire people to live more thoughtful, spiritual, and impactful lives, seeks a passionate and creative Digital Community Manager to lead experience and engagement of our online community. You’ll play a critical role in defining the experience for our users, fostering connections, deepening learning, and empowering individuals to explore timeless Jewish wisdom, all within the supportive and dynamic environment of Aish.
As Digital Community Manager, you will be the heart and soul of Aish’s new online learning community, built on Circle.so or Mighty Networks. You’ll be the champion of our users, creating a vibrant and growth-oriented space where learners can connect, collaborate, and evolve together.
Impactful Role:
- Craft compelling content: Curate high-quality content (articles, videos, podcasts) that educates, inspires, and sparks meaningful conversations about Jewish topics relevant to our diverse audience.
- Grow our online community: We envision a thriving online space with 10,000 engaged members within your first year. You’ll strategize and implement initiatives to attract new learners, retain existing members, and build a sense of belonging.
- Champion online safety: Ensure a respectful and inclusive environment by proactively moderating content and addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
- Master our platforms: Become a pro in utilizing Circle.so or Mighty Networks, unlocking their full potential to drive engagement and foster vibrant connections within the online community.
- Tech-savvy trendsetter: Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up-to-date on platform updates and best practices, ensuring a user-friendly and seamless experience for all community members.
- Collaborative spirit: Work closely with the technical team to optimize and maintain the online platform, tailoring it to the evolving needs of the community.
- Nurture vibrant connections: Facilitate interactive online events, discussions, and forums that foster connections, friendships, and peer support among community members.
- Make data-driven decisions: Analyze community engagement metrics and provide insightful reports to guide future strategies and optimize results.
Who you are:
- A skilled communicator with a knack for engaging writing, event planning, and social media marketing.
- Adept at using online platforms and community management tools to facilitate engagement and interaction.
- A passionate advocate for Jewish learning and living, eager to share with others.
- A data enthusiast who enjoys analyzing metrics and translating insights into actionable strategies.
- A creative problem-solver with excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach.
- Culturally sensitive and open to diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
- An experienced community manager with a proven track record of building and nurturing online communities (a plus).
- Someone who is familiar with Circle.so or Mighty Networks (a plus).

This is a full-time hybrid position based in the Old City, Jerusalem. Working hours will be adjusted to ensure overlap with the Jerusalem team as well as US based team members and end users.
