Summary:

The Human Resources Associate will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department's functions and contributions to the overall success of our organization. The Human Resources Associate will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: on-boarding, off-boarding, policy interpretation and staff inquiries as well as HR project support.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including orientation and necessary paperwork, including maintaining organizational charts.
• Offboarding: Create exit letters, conduct exit interviews, provide final benefit and pay information, and process termination. Coordinate notifications to other staff as necessary.
• Employee Relations: Act as a first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
• HR Compliance: Stay current with labor laws and regulations. Assisting in ensuring compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
• Data Management: process employee changes and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
• Policy Interpretation: Communicate with managers and employees on policy and process questions to ensure understanding and compliance.
• HR Projects: Partner closely with the broader HR team in supporting human resource programs and processes
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field preferred or commensurate experience
• Minimum of 1-3 years’ related experience
• Comfortable working in a pro-Israel political environment required
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
• Ability to provide direction, guidance, counseling, advice, and recommendations to managers
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and treat confidential matters with tact and discretion
• Experience working with HRIS system preferred, UltiPro preferred
• Experience with Visio a plus
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required

AIPAC is offering a competitive market base salary between $63,000 and $75,000 for the position. A job offer within the range will depend on how closely a candidate's skills and experience match the role's requirements. AIPAC also offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package that contributes to employee's overall total compensation package. We currently work remotely two days a week and in the our offices the other three. AIPAC is an equal-opportunity employer.
