Grade/Class: Grade G, Exempt, PSA-Eligible

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Program Director, implements ADL's education initiatives, enhances volunteer engagement, and fosters partnerships within the field division. This role works collaboratively with team members to ensure the successful delivery of educational programs and resources, supports volunteer leaders, and contributes to the development of strategic partnerships. The Program Director requires strong communication skills, a passion for community engagement, and a commitment to ADL's mission.

Responsibilities

Primary:

Program Implementation:

  • Assist in the deployment of ADL's educational programs and resources in schools, communities, and organizations.
  • Support the implementation of K-12 programs and facilitated antisemitism programs.
  • Deploy ADL programs and resources through partnership networks

Volunteer Leadership and Engagement:

  • Collaborate with the regional teams to activate and support volunteer leaders as activists, advocates, and ambassadors for ADL’s mission.
  • Support leadership engagement within the division and regions and foster a positive and inclusive volunteer culture.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for leaders to contribute to the region/division initiatives and goals.
  • Support GLI and other volunteer engagement initiatives.

Partnership Support:

  • Support efforts to identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to enhance program reach and impact.
  • Analyze the divisional Jewish community landscape and strategically deploy resources in support of initiatives for Jewish community engagement and partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Jewish community organizations, with a particular emphasis on Federations, foster collaboration, resource sharing, and community cohesion.
  • Network with other advocacy leadership development program organizations and lead on developing partnership opportunities

Program Evaluation and Improvement:

  • Participate in evaluating program effectiveness and impact.
  • Work with colleagues to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment with ADL’s mission and organizational objectives.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages professional growth.
  • Support and consult on incident response as needed.

Resource Management:

  • Support the management of program resources to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Assist in identifying funding opportunities to support program growth.

Work Experience:

  • Several years of work experience in education, programs and/or community engagement.

Education:

  • Degree in education, related field or equivalent experience required.

Work Environment:

  • ADL is a hybrid environment; this role will require 3 days in the office.

Compensation:

  • This position has a salary range of $85,000 to $90,000. This salary range is reflective of a position based in Detroit, Michigan. Please note that actual salaries are commensurate with experience and reflect the budget for a given position, and since ADL has a location-based compensation structure, there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
