Overview

ADL’s Los Angeles Regional Operations team is looking for a dynamic intern to join us from June 15 to August 7, 2026. The ideal candidate will have experience with community outreach, internet research, and database management. Our Regional Operations internship provides the opportunity for students to gain practical experience with working directly with the Los Angeles Regional Staff to gain first-hand knowledge about work in community outreach and program development. The internship will heavily focus on projects involving researching, reporting and correspondence writing, assisting with and attending meetings and event planning.

Application portals will close at 3 PM ET on March 10, 2026. ADL will confirm the selected candidates by mid-April.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to bias incidents reported to our regional office, under the guidance and supervision of regional staff, including outreach to constituents and data entry
  • Gain a real-world work experience and a greater understanding of ADL's work
  • Participate in projects including, but not limited to, community outreach, database management and online research
  • Assist with creating and compiling materials for programs, events, and presentations; Assist with the coordination and implementation of programs, both from Operations and Development
  • Attend and participate in the ADL Summer Internship Learning Program sessions, where you will get to have discussions with accomplished leaders and subject matter experts at ADL.

Compensation and Hours

  • This internship is paid $18.42 per hour.
  • The internship is 15 hours per week.

Location

  • This internship will be hybrid, with on-site presence required in Los Angeles, California.

  • You will learn about real-life decision-making challenges and help us develop real-time solutions.
  • You will have the opportunity to present your work at internal forums within ADL.
  • You will have practical, hands-on experience with community outreach and program development.
  • Collaborate with, meet and learn from ADL subject matter experts at all levels and become familiar with the varied work we do to “stop the defamation of the Jewish people and secure justice and fair treatment to all.”
