Overview

ADL’s Incident Response Team is looking for a dynamic intern to join us from June 15 to August 7, 2026. The ideal candidate will have experience with data management, AI (artificial intelligence), and Jewish community work. Our Incident Response internship provides the opportunity for students to gain practical experience with ADL’s national Incident Response Team, learn about the ways ADL is using AI for incident response, and help strengthen incident response data.


Application portals will close at 3 PM ET on March 10, 2026. ADL will confirm the selected candidates by mid-April.

Responsibilities

  • Review and triage of incoming incident reports, ensuring appropriate documentation, categorization, and response assignment.
  • Reading and responding to incident reports.
  • Maintenance and updates on knowledge management systems (e.g., Salesforce, SharePoint, AI tools), ensuring accurate, up-to-date records.
  • Assistance in quality assurance efforts, reviewing digital reporting channels and data integrity.
  • Attend and participate in the ADL Summer Internship Learning Program sessions, where you will get to have discussions with accomplished leaders and subject matter experts at ADL.

Compensation and Hours

  • This internship is paid $15.00/hr or local minimum wage, whichever is higher, depending on the location of the intern.
  • The internship is 15 hours per week.

Location

  • This internship will be hybrid, with on-site presence required in Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago, or Atlanta; OR remote, depending on the location of the intern.

  • You will learn about real-life decision-making challenges and help us develop real-time solutions.
  • You will have the opportunity to present your work at internal forums within ADL.
  • You will have practical, hands-on experience with incident response.
  • Collaborate with, meet and learn from ADL subject matter experts at all levels and become familiar with the varied work we do to “stop the defamation of the Jewish people and secure justice and fair treatment to all."
