About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced and FUN Pool Manager to lead our 3-pool aquatics facility with a strong focus on safety, team leadership, scheduling, customer service, and member relations. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about creating a safe and positive environment for pool members and guests and maintaining high standards in our beautiful nature landscape.

- Pay: $20.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
- Work Location: In person
Key Responsibilities
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all safety protocols, emergency procedures, and facility rules are strictly followed.
- Maintain a safe environment by proactively identifying and addressing potential hazards.
- Oversee water quality checks and ensure the facility meets or exceeds health department standards.
Staff Leadership & Scheduling
- Create and manage weekly staff schedules to ensure complete coverage during operating hours.
- Lead, coach, and mentor lifeguards and support staff to maintain peak performance.
- Conduct ongoing in-service training sessions to reinforce lifeguard skills and certifications.
Lifeguard Standards
- Ensure guards meet all company and industry certification and performance requirements.
- Provide constructive feedback, retraining, and disciplinary action when necessary.
Customer Service & Programming
- Welcome guests for special events and group reservations
- Handle disputes, questions, and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Maintain a welcoming, organized, and customer-focused atmosphere within the facility.
- Create a fun and positive pool atmosphere with music, games, theme-days, etc.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain the pool calendar, updating for closings, holidays, and special events
- Assist with payroll, timecard approval, and staff documentation
- Track incident reports and ensure proper follow-up procedures.
- Support inventory management for equipment, uniforms, and supplies.
- Manage the Swim Club membership list and communications
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or pool management experience preferred.
- Lifeguard First-Aid/CPR/AED and Pool Operator certifications required (or willingness to obtain, we can provide a certification course).
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Reliable, accountable, and committed to maintaining high professional standards.
