We seek a Part-Time Development/Operations Associate to join our dynamic global team.

This 16-hour-per-week,non-exempt position supports the work of the organization’s Executive Director. The position assists in organizing, coordinating, and implementing various activities to help the organization achieve its mission of providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine, enabled by meaningful engagement with Jewish communities and partners in North America.

This role will be crucial to our organization's fundraising and operations efforts by managing our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, liaising with the development committee, ensuring donor stewardship, providing valuable assistance in planning and executing events, and assisting with daily administrative tasks.

Proficiency in Russian and Ukrainian languages is a bonus. The successful candidate will be intuitive, proactive, and organized. They can think strategically about outreach and engagement while handling operational tasks such as data entry and crafting letters and forms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. CRM Management:

  • Oversee and maintain our CRM system, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of donor records and interactions.
  • Regularly update the CRM database's donor profiles, gifts, and communication history.
  • Generate reports and analytics from the CRM to support fundraising strategies and decision-making.

2. Development Committee Liaison:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the development committee and the organization.
  • Coordinate meetings, agendas, and follow-up actions for the development committee.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on donor engagement and fundraising progress to the committee.

3. Stewardship:

  • Implement and enhance donor stewardship strategies, including acknowledgments, thank-you letters, and recognition efforts.
  • Ensure that donors are informed of the impact of their contributions and engaged in the organization's mission.
  • Oversee the foundation’s correspondence, including donor acknowledgments, bulk mailings (annual and campaign), mail merge, and personal letters generated by staff, board, and sub-committees

4. Event Planning and Execution:

  • Assist in the planning, implementation, and follow-up of fundraising and engagement events.
  • Coordinate logistics, manage invitations, and ensure events run smoothly.

5. Strategic Outreach and Engagement:

  • Be a thought partner in developing and executing strategic outreach and engagement initiatives.
  • Intuitively ask questions, suggest ideas, and think creatively about donor engagement.
  • Proactively contribute to the development of outreach strategies.

6. Operations and Logistics:

  • Craft letters, forms, and other communication materials as needed.
  • Assist in the operational and logistical aspects of fundraising campaigns and initiatives.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence, etc., as requested by the Executive Director.
  • Deposit checks
  • Upload monthly reports to Quickbooks
  • Organize the organization's workplace folders (Google Drive)
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director
