REPORTS TO: Executive Director

STATUS & WEEKLY HOURS: Full Time – 35 hours per week

Salary Range $35-52K Depending on experience

SUMMARY: Tribe 12 seeks a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to serve as our next Operations/Communications professional. In this role, you will be responsible for tracking expenditures, supporting program logistics, sending newsletters, and generally supporting the work of Tribe 12. Together with the Executive Director, you will create systems for improving the efficiency and overall effectiveness of Tribe 12’s internal operations. This role impacts every aspect of the work as part of a team of talented colleagues.

We are seeking either early career professionals for a Coordinator-level position, or more seasoned candidates for a Manager-level position, whose responsibilities will vary depending on skillset.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with staff, contractors, other organizations and volunteers to create and promote events (5-8 hours a week)Assist in creation of events on Eventbrite and Facebook. Support Tribe 12 staff in their primary events. If requested by Executive Director, take creative ownership of events and/or work in partnership with other organizations Use tools like WordPress, Eventbrite and Facebook to post events and update event calendar on website
  • Lead creation and execution of a marketing and communications calendar (5-8 hours a week)Consult with existing Tribe 12 stakeholders, staff, and marketing contractors to implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to include email newsletters, social media, print advertising, press, marketing collateral, copywriting, graphics and/or video (Canva) Compile email newsletters based on Tribe 12 template using content from staff Create and schedule social media posts Monitor social media and escalate questions/concerns/feedback Monitor the organization’s brand identity and create and update content including copy, graphics, and videos in cooperation with staff
  • Assist with data collection, management, and reporting (3-5 hours a week)Understand Tribe 12’s CRM (Salesforce) of contacts and data Oversee Tribe 12’s contact list Support day-to-day operation and troubleshooting of CRM Assist staff in reporting including grant reports, annual board report
  • Serve as the virtual/digital friendly and informed “first face” that constituents will encounter through requests that come in via website, social media, and email (3-4 hours a week)Maintain a strong understanding of Tribe 12’s offerings, calendar of events, mission, and place in the community Serve as a first point of contact and then match constituents with the right staff for a 1 on 1 meeting Monitor the info@tribe12.org email and phone calls, and respond quickly to all incoming communication including email, direct messages, website inquiries and phone calls
  • Provide basic accounting support (2-3 hours/week)Review/pay/record invoices, deposit/record revenue Review monthly credit card statement
  • Serve a general administrative and onboarding role (2-5 hours a week)Serve as administrator for web-based platforms Manage the organization’s Slack, Zoom, Google Business Suite including onboarding incoming staff, and any other project management or operations-based systems When relevant, research and purchase new software Manage the shared Google Drive Help onboard any new platforms Attend to office needs including mail and interaction with landlord Assist with logistical planning and support for staff and community events/meetings. Other duties as assigned.
  • Development support (3-5 hours a week)Administer the development database and ensure data entry and gift processing is precise and timely. Prepare donor correspondence (asks and thank you letters) Prepare fundraising reports and donor reports with the Executive Director. Support staff in grant applications and reporting

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal and listening skills
  • Proven ability to organize projects and information
  • Experience in any of the following desired, or willingness to learn: basic graphic design, basic web content/html, Salesforce or other CRM, Excel, WordPress, Slack, Calendly, Canva, Quickbooks or other bookkeeping system
  • Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the Jewish community.
