Overview
The Social Media Manager will work with the marketing team to develop content on a daily basis to engage Touro audiences on multiple platforms. The manager must be able to meet very tight deadlines and work collaboratively with social media and digital marketing staff. The manager must be creative and familiar with social media and email marketing best practices. Digital design and video production skills are necessary for this position.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and create a variety of graphic assets for digital applications, including internal and external marketing efforts, email marketing and social media channels.
- Support and lead projects through all phases of the digital design process including but not limited to: concept development, implementation, and strategic planning.
- Assist in the implementation of Touro branding, following and maintaining brand identity, and ensuring all brand standards are met across all Touro properties.
- Conceptualize and create video content for social media and digital ad campaigns
- Conceptualize and create original on-brand designs, infographics, and graphic elements for articles, emails, and social media.
- Develop stories/reels that promote Touro brand and programs, increasing awareness and engagement
- Design emails targeting various key Touro audiences and stakeholders.
- Develop content for digital campus boards, create accessible versions of all marketing videos, following web team's accessibility guidelines.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2-5 years experience with creating video content for social media platforms, including Instagram and Facebook.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Strong photo and video editing skills a must
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to turn around quality content at high speed; Team player.
- Able to collaborate and work closely with social media and digital marketing staff.
- Expert proficiency in relevant design tools (Adobe, Photoshop, social media video editors, AI platforms, etc).
Travel
- Candidate must be in the HQ office or travel to other Touro campuses or venues anywhere in tristate area as appropriate, on average 2-3 days per week.
Maximum Salary
USD $75,000.00/Yr.
Minimum Salary
USD $60,000.00/Yr.
